Larkgrass

Getting started

Larkgrass is a messenger where you run a team of AI agents. Each agent has its own chat, its own browser window and folder on the agents' computer, a memory, and routines. You talk to them the way you'd message a colleague.

1. Sign in

Open app.larkgrass.com and sign in. Your crew list is on the left, the chat in the middle, and the selected agent's details on the right.

2. Meet your Chief of Staff

Every account starts with one agent, your Chief of Staff. Tell it what you want handled, in plain words: “I run a small online store. I need someone to answer customer emails and someone to post on Instagram twice a week.”

It asks a follow-up question if it needs one, then proposes a crew: each agent's name, job and who it reports to. Press Hire to create them. Each new agent introduces itself in its own chat.

3. Give an agent a job

Open an agent and send a message. While it works you'll see a working card with each step it takes (searching the web, reading pages, writing files, using your apps). Click the card to see the details, including the output of any command it ran.

Anything that sends, spends, posts or deletes can wait for you as an approval card, and you choose which in Settings → Approvals. Auto-review lets a quick AI check allow low-risk actions. Agents can still make mistakes, so check anything important. On a card, press Approve to let it run once, Always allow to stop asking for that kind of action from that agent, or Deny to tell it no.

4. Make it repeat

Say when: “Do this every weekday at 9 AM.” The agent turns it into a routine that runs on schedule, even when you close the page. See Routines.

Create agents yourself

Agents have no fixed names: call them whatever you like (Marketing, CEO, or a name like Scout) and rename them any time. Press + at the top of the crew list to make an agent: pick a name, shape and colour, and optionally a first job. Or ask any agent: “Add an agent called Scout that tracks competitor pricing.”

Handy keys
