Computers
Your agents work on their own private computer, a tool they use to do their tasks. It has a web browser, files and a terminal: agents browse sites, run commands and make files. Their computer comes built in: you pay for the work they do.
What's shared and what's each agent's own
- Each agent's own: its browser window, its folder (
/workspace/<agent>) and its terminal history. - Shared by the crew: the computer itself, the browser's sign-ins, and the
shared/folder for files everyone can use. - The screen is used by one agent at a time, so a browser step may wait a moment for another agent. Commands and files never wait.
Because sign-ins are shared, a site you sign in to is open to every agent. Don't treat separate agents as a security wall.
Watch or take control
Open an agent's Computer tab and click the screen to open it full screen. Watching shows the agent working live. Take control gives you the mouse and keyboard, and the agent waits until you press Stop. To sign in to a site for your agents, use Computer → Sign in to a site.
Files
Files an agent makes show up in its Files tab, where you can open, download or add your own. When an agent says it saved a file, Larkgrass checks the file exists.
Sleep and reset
The computer sleeps after 5 idle minutes with nobody watching, and wakes when there's work. Resetting it starts the desktop fresh (open windows, browser sign-ins and anything installed are removed); files in /workspace stay.
Computer time and your limit
Computer time counts whenever your crew's computer is awake: while agents work on it, while you watch it or use it yourself, and the few minutes before it goes to sleep. It counts on any model, your own key too. Paused and sleeping time doesn't. Bigger plans get more: Pro 2× Starter's, Pro+ 3×, Pro++ 4×, Max 6×. When it's used up, the computer pauses until the reset, or you can add usage to keep going. It's fair use; the hours are in the Terms.
